Day 17 - all's well

Today nothing exciting happened except that the girls ate well and gained weight. All three now are between 3lbs 3oz and 3lbs 5oz. Their little umbilical cords have all fallen off leaving behind precious little navels and they are all learning to nipple a bit.
We like it that way, though - gaining weight is about all the excitement we can stand at the moment. The girls really are just the spitting image of each other and as they are fattening up they look more and more alike. We are hoping to welcome them home around the second or third week in February at which time we will be soliciting food and extra hands, so stay tuned. Love to all, J + S.
