Here is Miss Ruthie on the 4th of July, 2007. Great Aunt Deedee is responsible for these adorable dresses. I for one, fully support the tradition of navy-inspired garments, especially for kids.
I photographed the girls one by one as they came through the back door to the deck, and I am still amazed at how well each of these three photos came out. We were having a little bar-b-que out back and it was ghastly hot so I think they only wore these dresses for about 10 minutes, but I am so pleased I captured the moment.
Again, apologies for not posting these sooner; I'll be in Eugene for the 4th this year and I wanted to get these up here before taking new ones for 2008. I promise, promise, promise to put up this year's pics in a more timely manner.
